Blue Flower Glass Plate
Blue Flower Glass Plate
Glass Plate by Chieko Oki
This plate is crafted by cutting glass and applying a blend of glass powder and glue, used in techniques like Kaga Yuzen. The mixture is layered onto the glass and fused in an electric kiln, creating a textured surface. After fusing, the glass is shaped over a mold in the kiln.
The final step involves finishing treatments, preparing the plate for use with both functional durability and visual elegance.
